No — both Gloss White and Matte Black are identical in every functional respect. All 30+ features, the same flushing system, bidet, heating, dryer, and electronics are included in both colours. The only difference is the ceramic finish and the colour of the bidet seat unit.
Yes — a standard 240V GPO is required within 1.5 m of the toilet. It must be installed by a licensed electrician to comply with AS/NZS 3000:2018, positioned more than 300 mm above floor level and as far from the shower or bath as practicable.
Yes — Australian regulations require a licensed plumber. The Throne Smart Bidet Toilet Suite ships with a Watermark-certified dual check valve (AS/NZS 2845.2) already included. Installation must comply with the National Construction Code Volume 3 and AS/NZS 3500.
The Throne Smart Bidet Toilet Suite suits floor-waste (S-trap) configurations with a rough-in distance of 300 mm to 400 mm from the wall to the centre of the waste pipe. Please confirm your measurement before ordering. This model does not suit wall-waste (P-trap) configurations.
Absolutely — the built-in lift pump means there is no minimum water pressure for flushing. This is one of the key advantages of the Throne Smart Bidet Toilet Suite for apartments and rural properties across Australia. The bidet operates between 0.06–0.6 MPa, well within standard supply.
The cistern has a manual flush button that works without electricity. The bidet, heated seat, dryer, and electronic lid are unavailable during an outage, but the toilet functions normally as a standard cistern-flush unit.
