Water beats paper.
Every time.
You wash your hands with water when they're dirty. Your bathroom routine should be no different. Here's the full case — your health, the planet, and why you'll never look back.
Start readingWiping has never actually been enough.
If you got mud on your hands, you wouldn't wipe it with paper and call it clean. Yet that's exactly what toilet paper does — it smears rather than cleans. A bidet uses a precise, gentle stream of water to cleanse thoroughly, without friction, without irritation, and without waste.
The bidet was invented in the 1700s, and for good reason. Billions of people across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East use one daily. Australia is catching up fast — and once you make the switch, it's hard to understand why you ever used paper alone.
This guide covers the full picture: your health, your wallet, your environmental footprint, and who benefits most.
- ✕ Smears rather than cleans

Your body will notice the difference.
A bidet isn't a luxury. For many Australians, it's a genuine health upgrade. Water is simply more effective and more gentle than paper.
Haemorrhoid relief
Dry wiping increases pressure and friction — the last thing you want with haemorrhoids. Warm water gently cleanses without irritation. Clinical studies show bidets measurably reduce anal resting pressure in haemorrhoid patients.
Constipation relief
Warm water and the gentle massage function can help relax the anal muscles and stimulate bowel movement. Many users report meaningful relief from constipation through regular use — without laxatives or medication.
Feminine hygiene
A dedicated front cleanse function uses a softer, directed stream designed specifically for women. It promotes a healthy vaginal environment, reduces UTI risk compared to wiping, and is especially valuable during menstruation and post-delivery.
Thorough hygiene for all
Toilet paper removes roughly 75% of surface residue. Water cleans far more effectively. A bidet leaves you genuinely clean, reducing bacterial contamination, odour, and the compounding hygiene issues that paper-only routines create over time.
Skin health & sensitivity
Repeated wiping with rough toilet paper causes micro-abrasions and inflammation — especially for people with sensitive skin or conditions like eczema or psoriasis. Warm water is non-abrasive and genuinely soothing, by every measure.
Post-operative hygiene
After surgery — particularly abdominal, rectal, or gynaecological procedures — proper hygiene is critical and physically difficult. A bidet allows hands-free, thorough cleaning with zero physical strain, often making recovery faster and more dignified.
A better bathroom for every stage of life.
Independence where it matters most.
As mobility and dexterity change with age, the bathroom can become one of the hardest rooms to navigate independently. A bidet removes the need for awkward reaching and wiping — restoring confidence and self-sufficiency without physical compromise.
- Hands-free operation — no reaching, no straining
- Simple one-button or wall-mounted remote
- Soft-close seat — no slamming, no injury risk
- Heated seat and water for comfort in winter months
- Reduces reliance on carers for personal hygiene
Cleaner. Easier. Fully independent.
For those living with back pain, post-surgical limitations, or physical disabilities, the bidet is a practical necessity. Occupational therapists across Australia regularly recommend bidets as an accessibility aid, and many are NDIS or funding eligible.
- No twisting, reaching, or awkward movement
- Wall-mounted remote or side panel options
- Air dryer — no wiping required at all
- OT-recommended; may be NDIS or funding eligible
- Restores privacy and dignity in personal care
Before, during, and after delivery.
Pregnancy changes your body in ways that make standard bathroom routines genuinely uncomfortable. A bidet adapts to every stage. Clinical research confirms normal bidet use during pregnancy poses no risk to mother or baby.
- Haemorrhoid relief — extremely common during pregnancy
- Gentle on sensitive and healing tissue post-birth
- Cleanses more effectively, reducing UTI risk
- No stretching needed — critical in third trimester
- Warm water helps relax muscles and stimulate bowel movement
Clean habits from day one.
Young children often struggle to clean themselves properly after using the toilet — and with paper, it's genuinely difficult to do well. A bidet makes thorough cleansing simple and teaches good hygiene habits from the start.
- Child mode adjusts nozzle position, pressure, and temperature
- Seat sensor only activates under seated body weight
- Icon-based controls are easy for children to understand
- Builds independence and hygiene awareness early
- Warm water is far gentler on sensitive young skin
Just cleaner. Every single day.
You don't need a medical condition to benefit from a bidet. The baseline experience — genuinely clean, fresh, dry — is simply better than paper alone. Most people who switch say they couldn't imagine going back.
- Actually clean after every use — not just wiped
- Heated seat and warm water — bliss in winter
- Air dryer means you can go entirely paper-free
- Carbon deodoriser for a consistently fresher bathroom
- Saves $400–$600 per year on toilet paper alone
Your bathroom's biggest environmental win.
The toilet paper industry is one of the most resource-intensive in the world. A bidet is the single easiest switch you can make for the planet — and it doesn't cost you a thing in comfort.
The equivalent of an entire forest — gone, just to wipe. A bidet cuts that by 80%.
A bidet wash uses 600ml. The bidet wins on water, dramatically.
Toilet paper is the leading cause of sewer blockages. Reducing use is better for your home, your council, and the waterway downstream.
Every feature, explained simply.
Modern bidets are remarkably capable. Every feature has a practical purpose — here's what to know before you choose.
Heated Water
Instant ceramic heating — no cold shocks, no waiting. Three adjustable temperature settings. You pick what works for you.
Heated Seat
Three temperature settings. On a cold morning, this alone changes the experience. The seat warms before you even sit down.
Dual Nozzles
Separate nozzles for rear and front wash prevent cross-contamination — a genuinely hygienic design that single-nozzle systems can't match.
Adjustable Pressure
Multiple levels from a gentle rinse to a thorough cleanse. Nozzle position is independently adjustable to hit the right spot every time.
Self-Cleansing Nozzle
The nozzle cleans itself automatically before and after every use. You don't maintain it — the bidet does it for you.
Seat Sensor
Activates only under seated body weight. No accidental splashing, no wasted water — just controlled, precise operation.
Remote Control
Handheld or wall-mounted — intuitive icons, logical layout. Most people use it confidently from their first sit-down.
Heated Dryer
Adjustable warm air dryer. Go entirely paper-free — the dryer finishes the job after washing. No towels, no paper, no hands.
Deodoriser
A carbon filter draws air from the bowl and neutralises odours at the source. The carbon lasts up to 7 years before replacing.
Energy Save Mode
Senses when unoccupied and switches off heating elements automatically. Always ready when you are; never wasting power when you're not.
User Presets
Every family member saves their own settings — temperature, pressure, nozzle position. One press and it's configured for you specifically.
MF Water Filter
Removes sediment from your water supply and uses silver ionisation to kill bacteria — before the water reaches the nozzle. Replace every 6 months.

1300 243 387Will it fit my existing toilet?
Our bidet seats fit most standard Australian toilets — they need to be oval-shaped at the front. We'll send you a simple measurement guide once you enquire, and our team can confirm suitability over the phone in under five minutes.
Do I need a plumber to install it?
Yes — like a dishwasher or washing machine, Australian law requires a licensed plumber for the water connection. The installation is straightforward and most plumbers complete it in under an hour. We can recommend local plumbers in many areas.
Does it need electricity?
For heated water, heated seat, and dryer functions, yes — a standard 240V point within 1.5 metres. We also stock cold water bidets that need no electricity at all, though they don't include heating or drying features.
Can I still use the toilet normally?
Completely. The nozzles retract and are entirely hidden when not in use. To guests, it looks like a normal toilet seat — they just won't understand why yours is so clean.
What if I move house?
Take it with you. The quick-release mounting system means the seat comes off in seconds and reinstalls just as easily in your new bathroom. Our bidets are designed to move with you.
What warranty is included?
A full 2 years — 1 year manufacturer's warranty plus 1 year complimentary parts and labour. We have an in-house factory repair centre in Southport, QLD. If something goes wrong, it's handled locally and quickly.
How does the filter work, and when do I replace it?
The micro-filter removes sediment and uses silver ionisation to disinfect the water before it reaches the nozzle. Replace it every 6 months — that's when the silver ionisation runs out. Replacement filters are available directly from us.
Is it safe to use during pregnancy?
Yes. Clinical research confirms normal bidet use during pregnancy poses no risk of preterm birth or bacterial vaginosis. In fact, it's particularly beneficial during pregnancy for haemorrhoid relief, reduced UTI risk, and managing the mobility challenges of the third trimester.
